Terms of delivery

Cancellation

Cancellation is understood to be the annulment of the registration, non-participation on one of the training days (unless the training can be caught up with) or change of the starting date of the training by the participant or his or her organization.

We use the following cancellation arrangements.

  • If the training is annulled, in writing, more than 20 working days before the first training day, no costs are incurred.
  • If the training is annulled 20 working days or less before the start of the first training day, 100% of the training rate is charged (but not costs of arrangements).
  • If the training is annulled less than 8 working days before the start of the first training day, costs of arrangements are charged as well.
  • If you register for a training less than one year after you have cancelled the same training, you receive a 50% discount on the training rate valid at that time.
  • If the participant fails to show on the first day of the training, this is considered as an annulment of the entire training. In this case, unfortunately, it is not possible to follow the rest of the training and the participant does not receive a certificate of participation. The full costs of the training and costs of arrangements, if applicable, are charged.

These cancellation rules lapse if your organization ensures that a substitute employee takes part in the training.

Of course, in the event that Boertiengroep fails to implement the training, no costs will be incurred and Boertiengroep will find, in consultation with you, a suitable alternative.

Change of the date of the intake interview


Some training programmes include a face-to-face or telephone intake interview, which is a compulsory element of the training in question. The date and time of the interview is mentioned on our website. If you cannot take part in the interview at the scheduled time, please contact us as soon as possible. We shall then, in consultation with you, attempt to find an alternative time on the date scheduled.

If we are able to change the intake interview to a time on one of the dates published on our website, no costs will be incurred. Please ensure you make a note of the dates on which the interview could be planned so that these dates are taken into account. You cannot participate in the training unless you have undergone an intake interview.

If the date for an intake interview or a coaching session is cancelled or changed less than eight working days before it is due to be conducted, or the date you request is other than the planned dates stated, we will charge € 95. To change a date for a telephone intake interview we charge € 50.

Extra intake interview


If you wish to have an intake interview with one of our trainers and have registered for an open training which does not include an intake interview, we charge € 192,50 for a one-hour interview.

Catching up with missed training days


If you have to miss a training day, which is not the first training day, you can contact us for a suitable alternative. Catching up is not possible for all training programmes and is allowed only if a group following the same programme has vacancies. Catching up is confined to one day or one block of two days. The days have to be caught up within six months.

If you know in advance that you will not be able to take part on one of the scheduled days, we recommend you choose another starting time.

Late ordering or cancelling a hotel arrangement


We can guarantee the availability of hotel rooms and cancel these rooms until eight days before the start of the training. After that time we have to rely on the availability of rooms and the understanding of the hotel owners. This also holds for a training day missed regardless of the possible option of catching up with missed days.

Preliminary stays


If desired, we can reserve overnight accommodation for you on one or more of the days preceding a training day. For such accommodation we charge the regular rates of the hotel in question. Rates are available on request. Naturally, we are dependent on the availability of hotel accommodation.

Tariffs and BTW (VAT)


All our open training programmes, including day arrangements and measuring instruments, are offered free of BTW (VAT). Overnight stays and dinners are taxed with 6% BTW (VAT).

Payment


Total training costs have to be settled within 14 days after receipt of the invoice.
